Sadly, here in the US, it probably gets thrown away.

Wyn, I read something this morning about dark chocolate being very good for something... but now I forgot what? I still prefer cheese to chocolate

Oh, I just thought of something. Baked cheesecake! I baked DH one for his birthday a few years ago and he forgot about it! He was arguing with me the other day and said I never baked him a cheesecake? When did I bake him a cheesecake? I said to him he'd better start remembering that cake, because he's not getting another one from me!

Cheesecake is my favorite thing to bake, but I'm the only one in the family that eats it, so I only bake it when I can take it somewhere. Goodness knows I don't need to eat an entire cheesecake by myself.

Last night, I got some "off-the-shelf" shredded cheese that really wasn't half bad. It was "Spicy blend" or something like that, with 3 different cheese in it. Melted nicely over a casserole I threw together out of leftovers for dinner. Nice, crusty edges to the casserole...oh, those crusty edges are THE BEST.

You know dat's right! My mom, sister and I always "fought" over who got that stuff. Oddly enough my younger siblings thought it was gross. Weird kids. x]

I saw a recipe on The Food Network once where they took shreddes mozz & melted small mounds in a pan - they used it for a salad, instead of croutons. mmmm.....
