"well, the only water we have here is the bay so...""I guess I should have spoken up earlier. Where did you get this water?" She said, approaching the cauldron.
(hehe...)(GTG BYE. LEAVING NOW.)
She dipped her head, touching the tip of her horn to the surface of the water. "I feel rather stupid, now. I better go down to the bay, too, so everyone can have a drink before we go. Some of the younglings didn't think to bring water with them like Alok did." She backed away and motioned towards the ladel Dazorn had used for the stew. "See if it isn't still salty." She said."well, the only water we have here is the bay so..."
Alok looked back to were Queste had been. "I don't know... She was just here." He looked over to Belle, sensing that she had seen something off about Queste too.(hehe...)
Daz went and got a cup full of soap, and when she came back Queste had vanished. "Where did she go?" she muttered. The pot of water was still on the fire.
Daz, picked up the dirty ladle and swirled it around in the pot of hot water to rinse off the remaining stew. Then tried a sip of the steaming water after blowing on it. "You can take the salt out of the water?" She asked amazed. "Is there salt left over when you do that? How much water can you change from salt water to fresh? could you do the whole ocean?" She had more questions, but stopped short realizing she was just asking without waiting for an answer. She dipped her head, touching the tip of her horn to the surface of the water. She snorted nervously and pawed at the ground, still nervous about not going down to the bay sooner. "I'm not sure exactly what happens to the salt. It works for poisioned water, too, I think. When I did it with mud, the dirt mostly just swirled away from where I was, but in this case, I..." She shook her head. "They tried to explain it to me years ago. Should have paid attention, I guess."Daz, picked up the dirty ladle and swirled it around in the pot of hot water to rinse off the remaining stew. Dazorn reached for the cup of soap while Belle explained, and stopped to stare at her. "you think?" then chuckled wondering if ever there were the occasion to need that ability, would anyone be willing to try what ever had been poisoned, or would they prefer to just dump it out. "I suppose you've never come across poisoning before. When should I add the soap?"She snorted nervously and pawed at the ground, still nervous about not going down to the bay sooner.
