Chichens and Pigons together

Can I raise chickens and pigons in the same coop. The coop will be tall enough for the chickens to have a roost off the ground. I could divide the coop with chicken wire with the chickens having about 4 feet at the bottom and the bottom and the pigons having about 4 feet at the top. I would rather have them all together with the pigons coming and going as they please. Thanks for any help.

I do have mine together, but make sure you arrange it so the chickens can't get to the pigeon food/ nest boxes. Mine is just set up high were they chickens can't fly to. The only worry I would have with the arrangement you describe - the pigeons coming and going- would be them bringing disease in. I let mine out to fly some, but not 24/7.
