Good morning Barb,
want to go to the drs for me and get the bad news I dont want to hear? LOl.
i am so not looking forward to going, got to be there in an hour, I am so dragging hind feet on going, first I dont want to hear it and secondly after the weekend I am pooped.
i just realized that this swap will be the final swap of summer! how sad is that! so i was hoping maybe we could hold our meeting at lets say 1 , we could send someone off to find food and hang out in the parking lot?? or someone could bring a grill, LOL hot dogs and soda chips.
i find that when most people leave its a good time to hang out, can talk more etc

You know thats a good idea.
it is sad its the last one for ( gasp ) 2 months.
best part though is we all live fairly close to one another and can always meet at the 99 in Nashua for some good company and great food. or we could always pick someones home and just cook out and BBQ. just because the swaps are on hold through the hot months doesnt mean we have to all split up and go seperate ways.
Now if you think about it its the middle of June and well i am bloddy freezing still from the weekend, if the weather holds as it has maybe we wont have to shut down at all?
just a thought.( hope really lol)
last swap what are we going to do every weekend the three year old wakes up everyday and asks "are we going to THE CHICKEN SWAP TODAY"
he is not going to be happy i order chicks just to go with him
we will have
buff orpington chicks
crested poilish chicks
nh reds chicks
rhode island red chicks
all hens
let us know if anyone is interested
thanks everyone we have had alot of good times
thanks again
James, Seth (the older boy),and Patrick (the little guy)

this is sweet! dont panic james i am hearing talk of a swap in deerfield in aug. though i cant seem to confirm it. we start up again in sept.
but like gypsy said the weather is horrible so nothing to worry about,
i have seen heat and stress kill some pheasants, i just dont want to set up a swap and have someone come and its the hottest day in aug and loose their birds, if you book one it could be noted if it too warm its canceled, lol
