Chick can't walk

Has been with other chicks for about a month. Maybe a little longer. I give all my chicken 7 grain scratch, some meatbird every now and then, oyster shells, and cleaned wheat grain mixed in also. And some later pellets, because it's all mixed together.
Very likely too low in amino acids and other nutrients to support a growing dual purpose bird. Surprising this is the first to show symptoms. Do you know the totals on your nutrient values with the amount that you are mixing them together? Chicks should not ever have layer or oyster shell added in.

It takes at least 3 weeks from exposure for Mareks to develop and often presents as limping. Here is one resource that has all the information...
Marek's Virus FAQ

The still eating well indicates it isn't likely coccidiosis adding to the issue. Also no pasted vent or slow or blocked crop. That's a lot of major things ruled out. Do they have access to any form of grit?

Your chicks and pullets should be getting flock raiser feed or chick starter for the best nutrition until they are of laying age, when they can have layer feed or stay on flock raiser. Did you know that scratch grains are only 7% protein, as opposed to 20% for flock raiser/chick grower, and is not a balanced diet? It also contains a lot of milo which is filler for bird seed and has little nutrition. My chickens love a treat of scratch once in awhile, but their feed should make up 90% of their diet. So there could be some problems with vitamin deficiency. Poultry Cell would be a good supplement for her 1 ml per day.
Actually, the scratch I get has 8% protein and the oats I get have 9% protein. The later pellets isn't their full diet. It's just a little bit of pellets because it mixed in to keep the full. Also if you didn't see before, I had said that I give them some meatbird also. It is mixed in. So they have plenty protein. They also get rooster booster in their water, then regular water, then acv in their water. It's all Evey other day. And the feed is mixed together.

Yes, I give them grit every day tossed out in their pen so that they can eat it or not. It's free choice

Chicks need about 22% protein... but it's also the amino acids and other vitamins and minerals.

I'm not sure why you insist on dumbing down your nutrition with so many treats.. and mixing it into the regular ration instead of using like treats or enrichment specifically related to them seeing you... how much is "some" meatbird... your chicks would perfectly fine on ONLY meat bird without all the added stuff. People think they are spoiling their birds when in fact they're not doing them any favors.

Now you've been given some very good information. What you choose to do with it is up to you. But we are here to help our community by arming them with the best information possible.. and it ALL starts with nutrition... seriously!

Rooster Booster is a brand name that makes many products. Not all are created equal. For true nutrient purposes the Poultry Cell is good. But the standard vitamin/electrolyte formula will NOT likely do much to help your currently failing bird. I also prefer Poultry Nutri Drench over electrolyte mixes. Consider riboflavin...

One last time... you have 2 very experienced people telling you they suspect the SAME thing.. that is not likely coincidence so maybe you should REALLY consider the information as possibly relevant! No reason to defend yourself... we all do our best until we learn something different! :fl

Thank you so much for your help. All the feed for my chickens are mixed feeds together. So I put whatever meatbird crumble I have left in the mix also, if I am getting more that same day for my ducks. Also, I do not give them any treats. Also just looked, and my rooster booster has Riboflavin. It's Rooster Booster- Vitamins & Electrolytes With Lacto Bacillus, in case you wanted to know. Thank you much!! Chick is looking a bit better today and is starting to stand up straight more and more.
