One of my chicks that hatched yesterday is good n dry, but the feathers are all stiff and locked together like it used too much hair gel.

Should I just keep waiting for it to fluff on it's own or should I us a damp towel to clean it off a bit?

  2. If the chick is dry, but just not getting fluffy, move him to the brooder. He should puff up soon. If he does not start to get fluffy after a half hour, gently rub him with a warm damp towel. Then put him back. I had this same problem with a chick. He should puff up in no time!
