You did not create a monster...at least you are not alone with chicken farts. I don't know about anyone else but I needed this thread. I laughed so hard and forgot about things that were bothering me. I love it. And i'm glad to see I'm not the only one with animals/birds that do that.....now,

I read earlier about goat farts and a horse....try a llama....they are sooo proud when they do it. Oh lets face it...I own a ranch of pootin animals.

Today was a hard day for me, we lost our beloved dog on Friday and yesterday my DH left on a business trip. The house has seemed unusually quiet (despite the 3 remaining critters) and with DH gone it's been worse. I too need the laughs and in all honesty I can't remember the last time I laughed this hard! My sides ache!

And because it's brought me some much needed laughter, to honor the OP'er for providing respite from my grief, and all who have contributed to this great thread, I must now name a chicken (when I get them) "nugget farts." (if one can indeed be honored to have something named "nugget farts" after them!) Thank you all for the hysterical posts!

OMG I have been laughing so hard I almost peed my pants (but we will save that for another thread!!)

I have not yet heard any of my peeps poot, but you better believe that I am going to be listening!!

We have MANY wonderful farters on our farm already. Bella our black lab can litterly make you gag, not to mention the number of times that she has farted while I have been asleep and the smell alone has woken me up.

My thoroughbred mare farts 24/7 ~ no joke she farts with every step, and watch out when she takes off into a gallop in the pasture ~ she can blow your hair back with the force of air coming out her rear. A few years ago I was working with a trainer with her and she said "this should be real interesting in the show ring". Well we don't have to worry about that because she will not go NEAR a trailer. What's really funny is when she farts so hard a nugget goes flying ~ WATCH OUT!!!! I have had her checked by my vet for this "problem" and she is fine. The vet said that she just REALLY wants us to know that her gut works well!

And then their is Shelby the goat ~ every time she snorts she lets out this deafening fart. It is seriously enough to scare you!

Oh, how I wish my chicks farted! All I get is the yellow "foamy poos" when my girls are out wandering around the laundry room. I think they do it just so that I'll bring out some of the "fun" TP to chase them with!

Okay, tears of laughter have finally cleared....I can go do the research of the foamy poo issue now, lol.

Just found this post. OMG. This is great. You better believe that the first one of my girls that I Hear fart will automatically get the new name of "nugget farts".
