Chick found dead, CPR miracle, will it recover?

Disoriented is normal post arrest, you will be able to gage if there's brain damage over the next few days/weeks. Great save! Was the coop heated or cold? If it's cold that could have helped as hypothermia before and after cardiac arrest helps with survivability.
It was cold, she got up to drink water so hopefully she’ll recover!

A few years ago we had a rain storm when we were gone. Chicks a few weeks older than yours had their cover blow off. The chicks got so cold they all passed out. We were able to revive them with heat. All birds lived normal healthy lives. I still have several of those hens in the coop.

They’re resilient animals!

Well she seems to be back to normal thank god. Eating, drinking and snuggling under mama. Thanks you all for the help, will keep you updated if anything changes.

What a great story. How does one do CPR on a chicken?
X2 because I lost a chick from unknown causes but her throat was still moving it looked like she was struggling to breathe and I wanted to give her CPR but I didn't know how to and sadly she passed away a few months ago she was only two weeks old
