Chick Identification Help Please!

Hi all, I’m a new chicken mom and a new member of this online community!
I‘m looking for help with identifying the breed of this chick. I originally thought it was the Buff Chantecler that I had ordered, but then these little flecked feathers started growing out and I’m now thinking that he/she is my randomized Meyers meal maker chick. Those wing feathers have me totally stumped! Any early guesses?

Hmm...I cannot give you any input on what breed your chick might be, but it certainly is cute!

Interesting! I had skipped right over that breed on the Meyer chick identifier list because my chick didn’t have any black eye markings. Now I see that isn’t a constant characteristic for Delewares. Thanks for your thoughts!

Hello again! It’s been four days since my post and I am not so convinced that this chick is a Delaware. Check out these red feathers that have now filled in! Any more guesses?

I thought it looked like our Salmon Faverolles when they were chicks but I don’t see any feathers on their feet...
We also have a New Hampshire Red Hen that looked a lot like this too. She started out yellow then grew in orange/red feathers. She’s beautiful now! We just weren’t expecting her to completely change colors like she did. Lol!
