0327181908_Film2.jpg Some folks nearby found this chick in the road, tried to find the owners all day, noticed i had chickens and asked if we would take it. Poor thing was so hungry. Anyhooo... It seems to be around the same age as my chicks and so far is being accepted into the flock. Its a bantam though. Not too familiar with bantams. Any idea what breed? 0327181908c_Film2.jpg 0327181909_Film2.jpg 0327181908a_Film2.jpg

No idea on the breed but so nice of you to take her in. She probably would have ended up as somebody's dinner otherwise. Great job!!

Its rural here. Cant even imagime how it ended up in the road. Glad the people noticed and stopped. They said they tried to feed it a worm. Haha. Crop was empty too.

Looks like Black Sexlink in color. But its more likely a crossbred.

    Good to know. Thanks!
Looks to be a hen and she is tiny compared to my others. She survived the night and all day in the coop and run with them and is friendly. She will make a nice addition.

Looks like a Black sex link which is a hybrid (cross breed) that is bred to be able to sex at hatch by coloring.

Thank you! Hoping the comb stays yellow. Too cute to cull.
