This is my first time raising chicks. My chicks are 1 week old today and seem to be doing well overall so far. I just went in to check on them and one of them kept reaching around to itch where her tail feathers were and everytime kept making a sound that seemed like she was in pain or uncomfortable. So I took a look and there seems to be a little raised red dot where either one of her feathers is trying to come in or maybe got plucked out? Just wondering if this is a normal part of feathers coming in or if there's anything I should be doing since it seems uncomfortable? Thanks in advance!
