Hey guys i picked up some chicks today from store and they had just been delivered, still in shipping box. Got a few different breeds but one Road Island Red when i got home noticed it was acting VERY strange. It is acting like when a kid gets spun around a tire swing and their head kinda moves side to side. Or when ur carrying a chicken and their eyes are focused on something and their neck tays in the same direction despite where their bidy is if that makes sense. This chick is acting like that and going in circles in place and sometimes acts like something startled it. Its running into things and trying to hide under the legs and wings of other chicks... she is very small. I was thinking maybe there was some sort if infection... i have LA 200. Dont think i can inject it but can it in a syringe with water orally. Whats the dosage?? It wouldnt hurt at this point.
I tried to take her back immediately but due to store policy they said they would have to "dispose" of her since shes left the store. I cried and tried get someone to take her.. these are for basically my father-in-law and i know he has no problem with putting it out, but i just couldnt do it thinking there maybe hope.

I would try poultry cell or sav-a-chick before antibiotic. One of the more common causes for neurological problems is vitamin deficiency. If it's a runt it may not have been getting to the feed properly. I would separate and give some vitamins and electrolytes for now. Hopefully someone with better information will stop by soon.

This could be a vitamin E deficiency. Treatment would be the same a wry neck. While your symptoms are not an exact match for the info below there is also something called 'crazy chick disease' that is also treated with vitamin E.
You can use a vitamin E capsule and selenium tablet crushed and mixed in food. Dosing is here: https://www.raising-happy-chickens.com/wry-neck.html
It would not hurt to supplement the B vitamins also, use a B complex tablet and do the same way.

How did she turn out?
I see you have post in 2 older threads - would you like to start one of your own? This way you will get some suggestions for your situation. The OP has not been on in over a year so they may not see your post.
Post some photos or a video of the chick, describe symptoms, age of chick, what you feed, what you have tried, etc.
