hi, one of my eggs has pipped about 2-3hours ago but it has pipped at the wrong end of the egg, will it be able to get out itself or will it need my help?
If so is it any different from helping a baby that is facing the right way but in the wrong position or that has been shrink wrapped. Please help.

It may just be that I missed it but I couldn’t find much on the topic, if anyone has any advice is very much encouraged. Thank you for going to the trouble of finding the conversation and if I have missed something please say.

I posted on your other thread. :D

Chicks usually have less problems hatching from the wrong end. I think these are ducks, correct? They can have a little more issues if they can’t get their bills positioned right to zip the shell. Depending on how stuffed they are in the wrong end. :D

I just finished a hatch today, I had three out of six of my ducklings pip at the wrong end. Only one of these little guys needed a little assistance as he didn't fill the air cell with his butt (for wiggle room) like the other two and just couldn't move at all.
