Yes it’s a he (I’m 80% sure) so we named him pirate since his other eye hasn’t opened yet.

I LOVE IT!!! I only said "she" because everyone's always hoping for egg layers on here so I was trying to be optimistic from that angle lol

Ahhh noooooo I'm sooo sorry for your loss! Poor little guy!!! That was sure a hard fight though and I praise you for doing all that you could for him! I'm so sorry!!! Xoxo how are the others? Did more hatch yet?

The other 3 have no idea about it I am so sad I don’t know what could have gone wrong. thanks for supporting me anyway on this journey . i will not forget him

I'm sorry for your loss. I know losing a chick is awful, so I try not to name them when they're this delicate (or at all because I free range but that's another story). I had to actively learn to keep my walls up. I dont know if that will help you next time or not. Try to remember that nature just happens and focus on the others!

Have you candled the other three lately to check on them? If your incubator was too low temp, they could be taking longer to develop which will delay hatch date.

what I meant by the other three I meant the chicks becuase I had 6 eggs in my incubator and 4 hatched but now I only have 3
