Chick popped a blood vessel

Hey in my last post I said one of my eggs was more developed and he really was. He’s hatching about a week before the rest. He popped open a hole, but I noticed he popped through a blood vessel and there was a little blood I put a moist paper towel around him, because I’m worried about him. Part of his egg also looks really dry and shrink wrapped. I’m afraid this is because I can’t adjust my incubator settings for him because I still have 7 more eggs. Any suggestions?

He is peeping a lot though and rocks the egg back and forth I just saw popped vessel about 25 minutes ago and he hadn’t pooped it when I left like 5 minutes before that

Up the humidity it wont hurt the unhatched as much as having it to low could hurt him

I would remove the wet paper towel if touching the egg. That can actually chill the egg.

Get the humidity up to at least 50 four the hatch 60 would be idea. I have read about some dry hatching but I'm not sure how that works

Okay thank you so much! I already planned on how to get it up for the others, but this little guy is ready now

Staggered hatch is hard in any case. Good luck with him(or her)

Update

The little dude hatched this morning, and there was a little blood from his/her navel but I got that stopped and now she/he is chirping and moving all over the brooder like crazy.
