Hey guys! This poll and thread was created to learn more about YOU and your chickens! But it can also help me! If you selected any of the I want chicks options then I am glad to give you some! You see we have a batch of accidental eggs in the incubator and we don't have the resources for chicks right now!!!I was NOT expecting this at all but I have to find homes for the ones that do hatch.so I need to start now...( Warning they might come with a name) please let me know if you can take them

Elaborate, please. There’s no such thing as “accidental batch of eggs in the incubator.” If they’re in there, someone put them there. It’s not a Mary situation.

I have chicks (1 week old)
I have chicks on the way (Hatch due next weekend and every weekend for the next month)
I need LOTS more (I have orders coming out my ears - which is awesome)

Elaborate, please. There’s no such thing as “accidental batch of eggs in the incubator.” If they’re in there, someone put them there. It’s not a Mary situation.

Ok so we did not expect to have hatching eggs at the time.but...we have a roo we did not think our broody was sitting on fertile eggs( she also kills chicks when they hatch) so when we found out we were not prepared but we put them in the incubator anyway and now the chicks that do hatch are gonna need a home (when they hatch)
