Chick thread!

I’m assuming quail chicks are allowed?
I have 7 Coturnix Quail Chicks

After having hens these Silkies were my first ever chicks, two pullets and a cockerel


A few weeks later I went out and got some barnyard mixes. The first two ended up pullets, the other three cockerels


These are Araucana's. I sadly lost one and ended up with three cockerels and only one pullet


5 of my 6 silkie x araucana


These are my most recent chicks. three silkies, a silkie cross something and three mystery chicks. They are a few weeks older and it looks like only two pullets out of the lot

Maybe they will surprise you and the cockerels will change into pullets. With silkies anything is possible, they are very difficult to sex before 4-5 mos. of age.

Fingers crossed, except the silkie on the right, that NEEDS to be a boy lol.
I may have also gone to get a frizzle and came home with a few extra. My kids always tell me my hands feel warm, I guess the chicks agree and kept trying to cuddle up and sleep

This is the cutie I actually went for, checking to make sure the little ones are set up ok
