Chick with diarrhea

If your chicks are all running around acting normal there is no need to be alarmed.
If the go off feed and start acting sluggish then it would be good to have Corid on hand.
 
I wouldn't want you to start hammering chicks with meds if nothing is wrong.
I agree I would not start medicating my chicks unless I knew for sure they had coccidiosis. With that being said I would recommend with new chicks that you have corrid on hand.

Putting together a chicken first aid kit may be something you want to consider. After losing my first girl I realized the importance of having a Chicken First Aid kit on hand. When she got sick I was running all over the place trying to find and get things I needed, I was not going to be in that situation again. So here is what I have put together in my Chicken First Aid Kit
 
I have had chickens for a few years and I have only used ONE thing on the above list.
Epsom salt and only used it once.
No saying it's not good to have some things on hand BUT it is not necessary to go over board, imo, and have everything on hand.

A secure house and a complete feed go a long way to keeping chickens safe and healthy.
