chick with strange neck swelling

Hi, I've just had a broody hatch some eggs out everything was going great until..... I checked one of the chicks out it seems to have some swelling just behind its ear hole it's kind of soft and feels like fluid I'm just a bit concerned as I have never felt anything like it on a chick before​

Have you looked for possible injury like maybe mama pecked it?

yeah I did, at first I thought she might have stepped on the baby but it doesn't look right... all the feathers are intact and there are no signs of injury...... its more like a pocket of fluid under the skin

I wish someone more familiar with chicks would come in. I've had many chicks but never had something like this. Makes me think of an abscess which could be drained. But I don't want to tell you to do this and it not be one.
Has it gotten bigger?

not really it's just stayed the same.... but the chick seems fine and is eating and drinking well

I might be able to .....but there isn't a lot to see the baby looks perfect but its neck is swolen just behind the ear hole
