Hey seeking input from other poultry lovers im making a automatic water what ive come up with is a 4 inch pvc pipe with cap at top and bottom and two holes at bottom one for a toiley bowl float valve and a smaller hole on side to let water come out then a 8 inch pan attached at bottom then hook up the valve to a garden hose now what im not certain on is if i will need a reducer valve im thinking it will cost me 12 dollars for supplies compared to 40 for a automatic at the store or 35 for a 5 gallon water you have to fill up
