Yeah, my family already thinks I'm the crazy chicken lady. If I made cakes for them, they'd have me fitted for a straight jacket.

And you can also substitute applesauce for butter.

Oh lordy, I am SO glad I do not cook! If it can't be micro-waved or crock-potted, it ain't gonna get prepared in my house.

Because if I could..... I bet I would!

(Everyone at work just smiles at my chicken tales and descriptions. There's one guy who said he's seriously starting to worry about me when I started to play the 3 minutes recording of Rebecca's Egg Song, which I recorded on my cell phone. I already have Carl's crow as my ring on my phone in my cubicle. But when I described the Egg Song with individual syllables - bok bok bok bok bok bok bok Buh-GAWK! - he shook his head and walked away.)

Chicken Birthday Cake. You know I have this GrandChick hatched on June 26, 2010. Stand by for 2011!!

I really wish I could record my roo's as a ringtone. How cool would that be.
I think my DH would be mad if I make a cake for them since I don't make one for him

Make her a cornbread cake and frost it with plain yogurt and strawberries? Leave out the sugar on the recipie?
I am so doing that tomorrow. My 5 Buff Brahmas are one year old tomorrow! Just curious, before I take my mom shopping with me, is there anything else healthy that I could put on the cornbread cake? Like nuts or anything? :3 I could end buy some dried mealworms from the store... lol

To make the cake look pretty, you could cut a pomegranate in half, turn upside down and bang all the pink seeds out onto the top of the cake! I gave my girls half a pomegranate today, they go mad for it!
I bang the seeds out as I walk and they happily gobble them up!

I can't believe I'm a crazy chicken person either!
