Did they have any other roos? If not then they're probably a mix of the two since hatcheries are all productions now. Feed stores buy from hatcheries I think unless a local breeder gives them some but that's rare i think
 
They're probably a mix of the two lines then would be.my guess or the darker are pure heritage. Are they bigger?
I am not sure without looking sorry. I think of them almost as a unit because except for two they don't interact and stay in their 'click' even when out with the other breeds in my flock when I am home for freeranging.

Oh, that is my roo that I know came from a hatchery. He ended up in a pot since while he was fine with me he attacked a friend every time she came. I now have a young Lav. Orp. roo and a Buff/EE roo.

It's okay! I was just wondering because I have heard one of the varieties is bigger. But wow, that's interesting!

That has to be some kind of record. Hope things pick up soon!
They are all pure heritage and all of my pure birds have started laying later than the hatchery birds. They have just started laying. My avatar is a few of them.
