Chicken Breed Focus Rhode Island Red

Pics
I'm glad I do not have a trained eye because my production quality look great to me! What do you mean about the coloring on the beaks and legs. All mine have the brown in the beaks and the legs have brown in them and the cockerel has red in his legs and back of feet.

Almost 23 weeks. Not great pics

Do I see some Delawares?

Oops. Somehow I got a double post.

With your background with proper RIR birds would you say my hatchery productions are decent quality going by these pics and my other pictures posted right before this? Their color seems solid to me.

And Yea! You do see some Deleware. I have 4 Deleware pullets. I had a cockerel but found him a new home as 3 for 11 total pullets was too many.
This was the cockerel Matty Ice. Sorry I know this is not a Deleware focus thread but there is some red in there too!

@Zackman23434whatever they are I think they look very nice. How do you guys get your birds that glossy?

Sorry I didn't see this before I posted again. Well it starts with a little olive oil, a brush, haha just kidding. My birds, especially the cockerels, are extremely shiney when in direct sunlight. Of course they are more oily then the pullets. But, I'd also like to think since beginning with my chicks for the first time ever in June, I won't be modest in saying that I take extremely good care of my birds. They are a priority for fresh water, fresh food, free range time, clean coop and run, each and every single day. I never lost one bird out of 14 besides the other 2 dead on arrivals at 3 days old. And I ended up building them a freakin chicken castle more so then a coop but I didn't know what I was doing as I never built anything before. Still not done really. But anyway again I'd like to say my birds look good because they are extremely healthy. But I'm still learning

The pure RIR's have the horn coloring on their legs and dark beaks. Production Reds not so much. Also the PR's don't quite have the same shape.
The color isn't good on these pictures. They are older pictures.
