I went back through some photos to find some of the feet but none show them really. Found a couple that kind of do but hard to tell. But I recognize that coloring on the legs and feet as some of mine for sure got that trait in their genes and a couple look just like your photo of the legs I will take some tomorrow. These pics R a bad example.
I do sell eggs but only in the spring. I do test hatches first to check the fertility rate. I haven't gotten my breeding pens set up yet because I have some of the pens with males from last springs hatch still in them. Hopefully soon I will be able to empty the pens and get my breeders set up.Do you know where can I get eggs or chicks of the older lines?
I have heard that if pullets reach laying age too close to winter they may not start laying until spring.Well mine are pretty, but they will be seven months old on the fifteenth and only two of nine are laying. My rocks and EE are laying so I don't know what those problem is that they are not laying all but two now have red combs and waddles. Any suggestions?
