Your EEs look so much like my two EEs. Or whatevers. The partridge colored and that lovely white/black combo. (The latter of mine turned out to be a roo, now practicing his crow, at 11 weeks.) I get to keep him. Whew!

I have a wish list of chicks to buy in the spring, because I need to "build up" my measeley flock of seven:

RIR and Plymouth Rock - Barred, to replace two who fell afoul of my elderly dachshund.

Then I want a Welsummer, and a standard Cochin, and ... and.... where's my list? I've been all over BYC and the hatcheries looking for colored egg layers.

cute pictures! the only problem with baby chicks is they grow way to fast. Maybe let the dog live with the chicks so coons won't get these.
