Chicken canker??

Is this a mouth canker? What should I do to treat? Will it spread to the other chickens?

It's best to cull birds with canker and bury them deep, far away from coops and pens or incinerate them.
The risk of canker spreading to other birds is too great.

Do you have pigeons or other wild birds around your waterers or feeders? That is how canker can spread to chickens. I would disinfect your waterers and feeders, and separate the chicken with possible canker. Have you seen any birds with fowl pox this year?

My waterers and feeders are in an enclosed run, so no access to wild birds. This is my first year with chickens, and we haven't had any fowl pox.
