Chicken coop can hold??

Quote:
Read further down...the living space is about 28 inches x 44 inches...nest boxes aren't meant to be lived in and therefore should never be included in that measurement.

"Dimensions of coop floor/perch area excluding nesting box: 44-1/2"L X 28"W X 41"H."

Well, with a large run, you could have more birds. My coop itself is tiny, but the run is huge! I have 8 birds in there, bantam and standard.

My coop is a double decker (it was built in the corner of our garage!) it's probably 20 sq. feet... 10 on top, 10 on bottom, with a ramp to go up and down between the levels, and a perch. With the vertical footage (including ramp and perch), my 8 have plenty of room

Although, they tend to get stuck in the bottom level and not find their way back up to the top LOL

if all the chickens have been raised together and are all buddies and get along well.... i think you could have 4 or 5 without a problem
