my chickens used to cross the road.. Then one of my chickens died in front of all of them, They never crossed the road ever again.

Mine hop the fencing and cross the road. Thankfully traffic here is almost nonexistent.

They want food that they think (wrongly or rightly) doesn’t exist on your property.

We had a rooster who crossed the road to get to our neighbors hens who did not have a rooster nearby.. We could not prevent it so the neighbor just payed us to keep the rooster.
