Chicken Deck?

A deck sounds nice.

Running a water line should be quite easy and should NOT cost you an arm and a leg. the most difficult part will be digging the trench.

Running the water line won't be hard, it is just getting my husband to do it that is hard. Otherwise, I will have to hire the guys from my work, who will get it done lickety spit, but then I will have to pay an arm and a leg for them doing it. Especially since I work at the water district. We have to be extremely careful about any water work done to our own homes. I think it will work out well though and the deck will give them yet one more space to hang out on.​

Actually, if it was up to them, they would work for beer, but we have several customers that are always looking to cause trouble and would accuse me of receiving special favors and it would from the district and it would be a big ordeal. So any work the guys do around any employee's home, has to be done during business hours and we have to pay the water district's hourly rates plus parts. These people walk past my home constantly checking for any wrong doing. My husband can do it, but he doesn't drink and so he is harder to bribe!

LOL... about the DH.... too bad about the neighbors. Does it have to be someone from your water district? Cant it be a Gardener that puts in sprinkler systems? Get a quote give it to your DH if bribery doesnt work maybe the bottom line will... LOL.
