This may be a crazy question...
I look at my chickens pretty much daily. I have a buff orpington (1 of 3) who today I noticed had exposed ear holes. Its like the feathers over her ears are suddenly gone. All of the other chickens look normal, including my Americauna and Speckled Sussex. Any thoughts on why this could be? Should I be concerned? She seemed like she felt fine, acted normally, and even came over to eat some cracked corn out of my hand, which is when I saw this.
Help!
