Honestly, I'm not sure. I'm guessing it came from one of my old (5/6 yr old) Ameracaunas since they usually lay pale green eggs.
Yeah, I agree it was probably stuck in the chicken for awhile. Knowing the OP has some old hens (who laid green eggs, at that), makes it all sound more logical to me. Check out how thick that shell is-- stuck in the section of the egg factory that coats the eggs with shell would be my best guess.Well, looks like it could've been in there for a while.Hopefully they are healthy and it was just an anomaly. Curious if you've had other issues with egg eating or was it just with the "avocado"?
