[Three Little Bunnies]

Suddenly, there was a crashing in the bushes. The chickens got more and more scared until... out popped three of the Keeper's daughters. One was holding a dog crate. Ashes was on a leash, sniffing the ground. "Look, there are Olive and Clementine!" one shouted.

Olive and Clementine, for once, were not scared of the kids or the dog. They ran right up to Ashes, chirping in relief. "You saved us!" "YAY!" "IT WAS SO SCARY!!!"

Evie ran over the keepers daughters, clucking so that they saw her.

"You naughty girls," Eden scolded, but the chickens could tell that she was relieved. "Now, where are Hobbes and Hyla?"

"We don't know!" "Hyla ran away!" The humans did not understand Olive, much to her disappointment.

"We need to find them," Ally said. "It's supposed to thunderstorm tonight, and they'll get wet!"

"Hobbes!" Evie squawked "Hyla! Over here"

Bonnie grumpily went to get some food. I'll show them! She thought. After getting some food and a long drink of water, she found a nesting box with eggs in it, rolled them to the middle, and determinedly sat on them.

 

[Three Little Bunnies]

"Umm, Bonnie, those are my eggs," Janie said. Seeing the chick's heartbroken expression, she quickly added, "But you can help me sit on them if you want."

Bonnie was just as excited by the prospect of helping Janie sit on her eggs as she was with sitting on her own eggs. "Yay!" She moved to the side so that Janie could take the majority of the eggs, and she then sat on one for herself. (She is half cochin, so broodiness runs in her blood )
