Did you hear her? How did you come across her? Such a crazy thing!

We saw some feathers and chicken poop where the leak was, and then I started to look around and found her.
We thought she was dead at first bc the way she was laying, but when we got up on her we could see the tiniest bit of movement. I still can’t believe it!

Chickens are incredible! From the pic she looks really good given her situation! I would definitely give her egg eventually. Keep giving her electrolytes. All the advice given is solid and what I would say.

I tried giving her pedialyte, but she didn’t seem to like it. So I’ve continued the water with the sugar/salt/baking soda mixture.

This is amazing so glad to hear a semi happy ending hope she keeps pulling through but sounds like she most likely will. Way try putting her in a sling type of thing so that she doesnt have to lay on her sides all the time... but other than that I think your covered keep doing what your doing

Try Gatorade. Could maybe get it at an all night gas station or grocery store. My vet recommended it for resuscitation and surprisingly they all like the fruit punch flavor (red).

That's amazing ... and pretty dag-gone cool! Do you have some Gatorade or Pedialyte? Either works well for electrolytes and both are usually available at all-night convenience stores and/or gas stations.

That’s amazing! What a fighter she is!! I would avoid citrus juices since they shouldn’t have citrus and definitely keep up the electrolytes and maybe some scrambled egg in the morning if she’s perked up. I hope she makes it!
