Chicken had bubbly eye

I’m looking for help. My chicken has foam coming out of his nose and eye. It seems like mycoplasma. We have added a couple new chickens. Anything we can do? We have him separated right now but I can’t find a vet anywhere that sees chickens

Hello. Is your hen coughing and sneezing? Isolate her and make sure to keep your eyes open for any symptoms in the other hens. Do not add more hens for now, I’d assume.

Adding a form of medicine in the water 5-7 days can be beneficial, although hens pose risks of carrying mycoplasma without any symptoms. I’m not an expert, but here is a really informative thread. https://www.backyardchickens.com/threads/mycoplasma-what-to-do.1621847/

Do you maybe have pictures? There are many experts you can message on this site. Let me know if you need help finding them

I do need help finding them please and thank you. I have a photo of his eye that just has a lump on it. The foaming has gone down. We isolated him in a spare room and have been giving him vet rx and some electrolytes. I’m hoping this isn’t the whole flock cause we have a silkie acting funny as well that we have isolated

How long did the foaming in the eyes last? The VetRX is good, it helps clear up the symptoms but doesn't cure.

Mycoplasma can be contained within a flock successfully if caught early I am pretty sure. However, I haven't experienced it myself. The only issue is that you can't add more chickens to your flock if they do have it. However regular respiratory infections are common and it isn't always mycoplasma.

I have some questions

-How many hens are you in your flock?
-Is your hen sneezing/coughing? Drinking and eating?
-Did your hen stop laying eggs
-What symptoms does the other hen 'acting funny' have?

So the hen laid an egg yesterday. The other is a rooster. There is a third chicken we believe has it as well.
So hen #1
Is super weak, gasping for air and one of her eyes are half closed. She was hiding for two days. So she is also weak from that.
Hen #2 seems fine other than some weezing
Rooster has foam coming from nose and eye. Also was laying around. Been giving them all vet rx so they have been doing better but would like it to be gone for good

In order for it to be done you need to get medicine. In the thread i sent you they have recommended medicine to give, but I would tag some experts just in case.

Make sure to wash your feeders and water waterers so that healthy chickens have a less chance of getting sixm

@Eggcessive
@Wyorp Rock

sorry to bother you guys but I think this person needs help with a fast spreading respitory infection

@Vicrhi0301 You can treat MG symptoms with certain antibiotics such as Tylosin powder available online from Jedds.com or Denagard/TiaGard /tiamulin online. Unfortunately, if the new chickens have been exposed to the others, they all will most likely be exposed and be carriers. It is confusing when helping someone else with a problem on the OP’s thread. It is best to start a new thread of your own. Here is some info on MG:
