Hi! Got this girl about 3 months ago. She’s about 6-7 months old now. The last I got her from told me she is an olive egger and a hen. I’m pretty confident she’s a hen, but unsure of her breed. I just realized today that she has 5 toes on each foot which I thought was predominantly a silkie trait, so is she mixed with some silkie? She is my favorite chicken, the sweetest too! She hasn’t started laying yet, any idea a rough estimate on when that may start? I have her on layer now because of her age. The other hen I have her with also is around the same age and hasn’t started laying yet. The hen i’m posting about makes a different sound than the others as well, kind of a more high pitched hen noise, but definitely not a crow. Attached a body shot of her.

Point of Lay Pullet, sorry don't know the breeds, but an olive egger can be any mix of dark brown egg and blue egg genes. As others have mentioned silkies are not the only 5 toed chickens.

Got it! Thank you!
