Id suggest that she's either moulting or she's broody. I would check for lice and mites though in case the irritation is causing her to remove her feathers.
Um she is laying eggs but they are los in calcium and break all the time, and there was a round scabby thing on her foot, and the tips of her comb are grey, and she doesn't breathe well.
Just listing more symptoms.:/
She has no lice or mice( oops, mites) and I need to say she is three years old . please help cuz she was half broody for like a little while but now its gone help plz somebody
The least i would do is put some vitamin supplements in their water, give oyster shell as an optional supplement. Its maybe that is going broody - i have two hens that lay, but stay on the nest afterwards (until i remove them from the nest). When hens go broody they do not eat and drink as much as usual, leading to a lack of overall condition.
Actually sir, she has started moulting now and I think her problem was she was pulling them or Blackie was.(blackie is our feather puller and has left obvious spots on all the backs of our pullets.)
But that is under control.
Thank you for all your help.
