Chicken Is Screaming??

Hi!
I have two chickens, a leg horn and an isa brown. Every day without fail the leg horn makes a lot of noise (they're both hens, by the way). It sounds like she's in pain. She does this in the morning when she wakes up and i think she doesn't 'scream' as much after she has laid her egg.
Is the normal ?? Is there a way to help her? Is she in pain ?
