Chicken just showed up?? ****NOW "Big Chickens Story" a story of a found chicken***lol

She went in the coop again tonight on her own!! So nice not to have to go out in the woods and herd her in lol. She was even NOT the last one in. Once she went in she stayed in and no one chased her out. I opened the door to peek at her and poor thing. She was on the top roost facing the wall with her head down. Looked so sad. But im looking forward to tomorrow and whatever progress she makes. I would love to see her some day just mingling with the flock and not walking around acting like something is going to pounce on her any second. She watches the other chickens when they follow me around and sit on my lap. Hope chickens can learn from watching!

Ohh I'm so glad ...I'm sure she's getting adjusted...if she's not laying yet she will probably warm up to you and tame down w
hen she starts squatting

Its nice to hear good news..with so much bad news IV heard today...I just foundout my Co worker 6 month old baby girl has stage 4 cancer..your progress made me smile..

It never ceases to humble me that in times of sorrow and uncertainty, our feathered (& furred) companions have the power to make us smile..........our thoughts and prayers are added, Sue

So very true. My dogs fur can soak up and hide my tears. The antics of my critters make me smile and watching everyone interact is soothing and humbling. On a bad day i can take my chair out to the yard and sit with my dogs head on my knee. Watch the chickens peck and squabble. The rabbits with their mouths full of grass keeping an eye on the rooster. I can see the horses dozing and hear the rip as the the cows tear grass. The sun warm on my shoulders. And for a short time....All is right with the world
