Chicken Unboxing
Chirping
I'll start from the beginning; Remember our two roosters? Well, we went to the place we originally got them and traded them for two small hens, one white and one colored. (Genetically small, they are adults) So about a week ago we got our first egg from each. The colored one layed an egg just fine but the white one layed just... yolk. At first we thought it was maybe because she got startled or she had a lack of calcium, so we started feeding her egg shells. Now I wouldn't be writing this if the problem was resolved. This is the third time she has layed a shell-less egg and it really has me worried. Could you tell me the source of the problem and possibly a solution? Below is a picture of the second shell-less egg she layed in her coop.
