Okay! Would that also cause the limp?Wyrop Rock has suggested getting a fecal done to rule out intestinal worms we might to be able to see.

Also sorry if some of the questions I’m asking are stupid- I’m 14 and still kinda new to chickens
I noticed those scales too! As for not eating- I’m not sure. How do I tell? I don’t have a ton of experience with sick or injured chickens, so sorry if that’s a stupid question.
Your questions are very good, ask away and we will try to help you!Okay! Would that also cause the limp?
Okay! I am away from home but I felt her crop quickly before we left. It almost feels a bit mushy? I felt a few other chickens for comparison and theirs felt more grainy almost, if that makes sense. She ate a bit today, though, and she has been drinking some water. I can try to do everything else when I get back. I don’t have a photo of her at the moment, but I’m pretty sure she is an idea brown. I will keep you updated! Thank you again for the help!Your questions are very good, ask away and we will try to help you!
To check her crop, feel to the right side of her breast. There is a pouch that holds food and water. If that has not emptied overnight, then there can be an issue with the crop.
Her not wanting to eat/drink is concerning - we want to try to figure out why - usually even with an injury most chickens will drink or eat a little. So the first thing I would check is crop function.
Worms will not cause the limping, but can cause them to go off food.
You mentioned that your not sure if she's started to lay eggs or not - can you feel her abdomen below the vent between her legs for any swelling? I know you are young, but it would be a good idea to also feel inside the vent about 1-2" to see if she's got an egg stuck. Put on a glove, lubricate your finger with a little vaseline or coconut oil and feel in there. If you have someone that can help with that, it would be good.
Having trouble laying an egg can make them temporarily have difficulty walking.
Is she able to poop at all? What does that look like?

Re-check her crop when you get home and let us know what it's like.Okay! I am away from home but I felt her crop quickly before we left. It almost feels a bit mushy? Okay so her crop matches the description of impacted crop. I felt her abdomen and there was no obvious swelling. I will let you know the result if I feel the vent. Here is a photo of her:Re-check her crop when you get home and let us know what it's like.
Here's a quick read about some common crop issues https://www.backyardchickens.com/ar...w-to-know-which-one-youre-dealing-with.73607/

OK Now, check her crop again in the morning before she has had anything to eat/drink, see if the crop is still hard or if it's emptied some. The photo didn’t post: View attachment 1929448
Also I got her to eat some food!
