i assume you are going to copy it over at the new place, but with 2 x 4s?

What are the black tubs and where can we get them??

The tubs came from Lowes (big hardware store). I found them in the section with the concrete and assorted supplies. They came in two sizes and were for mixing concrete so they are heavy duty. I based the measurements for the frame on the size of the tray so that the 'lip' would rest on the boards and allow it to slide out.

Terrific idea worth copying. I have a question. Since most chickens seem to want to go to the higher roost, if you had space would you lengthen the roost and not have two levels?
