My boyfriend recognizes that I have a huge problem with chicken math and got me 11 bantam chicks for one of my birthday gifts. I think he’s a keeper . Anyways, I was hoping for some initial breed guesses for this crew. I have some guesses on some but am clueless for others. Thank goodness our coop under construction is massive because we’re going to need the room. The pictures are labeled and should be thumbnails so that they load better.

My guesses that are probably wrong:
Chick #1:White polish? Although the cheeks are throwing me off.
#2:porcelain d’Uccle
#3: No clue. I call him stumps because of his toe.
#4: Mille Fluer?
#5:I thought it was a polish. However, it’s giant. Could it be a standard Amerurcana that got thrown in? Sorry for butchering the spelling.
#6:Golden Sebright?
#7:Some sort of polish?
#8:Barred rock?
#9:Buff silkie?
#10:Easter egger?
#11:Barred rock

Is he sure the crested ones that look like polish came from the bantam bin? They look like they might be buff laced but those are usually standard sized.

2. White Cochin
3. White Japanese
4. Golden laced Cochin
6. Quail d’Anver
7. Pyncheon (if it gets spots at adulthood) or red Polish
8 and 11 appear to be Barred Plymouth Rock
9. Buff silkie
10. I think I see feathered feet. If so it should be a partridge Cochin

Wow! Thank you, that’s super helpful! I’ve never even heard of some of these before. I’m excited to research. He said he was careful to get chicks from the bantam bin.
