I figured out to late into the relationship that my hubby's parents ruined him liking really any animal, but he loves me so he just keeps his yipper closed.Hahaha we both wanted chickens...I tend to the flock he watches them so of course he will get as many as he can lol

Didn’t like them in the house etc. but got on board when they started going outsideI figured out to late into the relationship that my hubby's parents ruined him liking really any animal, but he loves me so he just keeps his yipper closed.
DD uses the "Critter Quotient" when evaluating potential boyfriends and rating dates/acquaintances. The higher the CQ, the more likely they are to show up at the house, again. Her current BF rates an 8.5, which is significantly higher than his predecessor's 6. Her BFF actually rates about a 12, on a scale of 1-10. She figures her schedule around her riding lessons/shows, feeding time and the farrier. Apparently, that makes for major brownie points on the social scale!I figured out to late into the relationship that my hubby's parents ruined him liking really any animal, but he loves me so he just keeps his yipper closed.

What do you do with the extras? This would be me, except I can't rehome even one rooster for free! All I wanted was a rooster so I could hear him crow.......
But then I was given 2 hens.....
Then I got an incubator.....
Now there have been many hundreds, maybe thousands of chickens, guineas, turkeys, Peafowl.........
Wouldn't have it any other way!!!![]()

Chickenholics anonymous. Its a 12 step program. The first step is admitting you have a problem. The second step is building a bigger coop. The third step is buying more chickens...wait. I already screwed up. Back to step one
