Chicken Names share their names here

How cute! I like it, it makes it easier to call her I bet

Mine have names but I always just call chickie. Oh yeah maybe that's why they don't know them, lol

Have you ever had chicks before?
Well I've had another hatch of twelve. This is my second one! They are really hard to identify. Kippiekip is the one that was born with a problem on his foot so he can not walk or stand up.. I've posted some threads hoping for someone to help a bit more but I will probably have to euthanise him... He has so much fight in him!! Sorry for my English again it's not my mother labguage :) Here's a photo of Kippiekip !

So sorry, you know I've seen so many ideas people and veteranarian have come up with to aid dogs birds etc to walk when injured.

With so many birds you may not have the time , but try googling to see if you can come up with an idea .

Wish you best

Your English fine

I love all the names and your theme! What will you do with all the eggs?

2 is plenty for me, I only wanted one. Sales girl and friend both convinced me about flick friend etc

I was so excited about the eggs, but mine lay every day. Going to be a lot of egg salad around here, lol

Thank you! I'm a nerdy Harry Potter fan, lol, can you tell? Most of my chooks are bantams and the Cemanis aren't known to be prolific layers, so I'm not expecting *too* many eggs, lol. But it should be a nice mix of colors! I'll probably try pickling the tiny ones, eating a lot more eggs than I already do now, and give lots of em away. My dogs will get some too, of course! :)

I'm still anxiously awaiting my first egg. I'm betting on Black Betty, she's looking very red in the comb and wattles. We'll see....

Sniper, makes me think she could snatch a cricket out of the air!
Patrick ? Does she happen to lay green eggs? I don't know what breeds lay what color. Pardon my ignorance.
Mr. Crabs , I love it!

Really, 53? I sometimes wonder how you can remember all the names, but then I think if you're a teacher you'd remember them (names,)

Have you always had Chickens?
Yes I have always had chickens 47 years now..... Wow!
Sniper yep she lays green eggs and every time I go into the run to get eggs, clean, water or just to sit she comes out of know where and bites you until you pick her up to cuddle her. Once you do that she wont bit you or should I say until the next time you come back. Patrick lays brown eggs and loves to spend her days digging holes everywhere!
I also have chickens that are named after the walking dead tv show, presidents and of course just good old fashion names!

Sports family? Love it!!!

one of my grandsons just got in a baseball league supported by dodgers! We're so excited for him he's good but still has a lot to learn.

Are these the only ones you've named? Are you going to be adding to your flock?
Thank you! And congrats to your grandson! I hope he does learn a lot and I hope it translates to him playing well in games.

Yes, those are the only ones I've named. I only have three chickens right now, and my Speckled Sussex hens that I got in June 2016 were the first chickens that I've ever owned, so I'm still fairly new with raising chickens. I do plan to add to my flock; there's a few breeds that I have my eyes peeled for lol.
