I use naming conventions: EEs are named the common name of other bird types: Kiwi, Owl, etc. A few don't fit, but that's because they were older than the convention.

My Lakenvelders (Vowerk) are named after Hunchback of Notre Dame characters, like Quasimodo and Esmerelda.

My bantam Cochins are named after sea creatures: Orca (black frizzle roo), Squid Ink, etc.

My Buttercups are Ginger and Marianne.

My Speckled Sussex: Brit pop stars, such as Ringo!

My Welsummers are named after Dictators: Napoleon, Aleksander, Caesar, etc.- girls are a bit more special, like Helen!

My Lavendar Orps are yet to be determined...I am having trouble with this set, and they're irritated they haven't been named yet.

My bantam Ameraucana are detectives: Poirot, Holmes, Watson, etc.

I don't have names for all of my birds but here are the names of the ones that I do.

My three Red sex-links are Penelope, Tee, and Copper.
Only one Delaware has a name, Elsa.
Only one Easter Egger, Flyg-plan (swedish for airplane, she's the best flyer)
My three Jersey Giants are all named for towns in New Jersey....the roosters are Paramus and Pemberton, the pullet is named Parsippany.
