What is an axolotl? I've never heard of it. :confused:

One of my favourite questions! Thank you for asking :)

So an Axolotl is like the peter pan of the salamander species. It starts as a tadpole and then starts to grow frilly gills and little arms and legs like a salamander does, and then it jus stops. A salamander would continue to grow lungs and lose its gills but Axolotls don't they stay fully aquatic and become sexually mature in that form so they breed more that stop growing just like them.

Mr Nacho Snaxalotl is adorable and gets spoiled!
