Chicken Newbie in Wisconsin

Hi everybody! I have 13 wonderful girlies and a perfect gentleman, Harold, and one we don't know which I call Captain Took. I got Captain Took in July, he/she was given to me by people that were living in Milwaukee. The grandmother had bought two young chicks for her grandson, and the first one died later that day. So Captain spent the next 6 weeks spoiled rotten in their kitchen....until he started pooping all over the floor. After that he came to my farm. He is so tame that every day he/she comes up and hops on my lap. Anywho, I am excited to glean all this knowledge from other chicken lovers. Thanks for reading

You should try posting that picture in the "What breed or gender" section - it'll get more responses there.
I personally never did have a clue about guessing genders!
