  1. (1) Are you new to chickens / when did you first get chickens? Our family is brand new to chickens. 12 baby chicks arrived this morning!

    (2) How many chickens do you have right now? 12

    (3) What breeds do you have?
    Rhode island Reds


  2. (4) What are your favorite aspects of raising backyard chickens? We love holding them and watching them.

    (5) What are some of your other hobbies? We are a homeschool family who just bought a farm!

  3. (6) Tell us about your family, your other pets, your occupation, or anything else you'd like to share. Mom, dad, 3 kids, 2 dogs, 1 cat and 12 chickens later...... we are chaos but we love it.

  4. (7) Bonus: How did you find BYC, how long have you known about BYC, and what made you finally join our awesome community? Just joined!

Congratulations on getting your farm! Do you have a coop built? Those little chickies grow so fast... enjoy them while they're little!!

If you continue to handle your chicks with your family very often, you'll have a flock of lap chickens and will love it! Your farm and family sound like very much fun and are all warmly welcomed!
