I have a plymouth rock chicken who had been a steady layer with good large eggs but for the past 2-3 weeks she has been laying just yolk and sometimes there’s a very thin shell in the coop. Her only other symptom is that she has a bare belly which is a recent discovery on my end. Let me know what you think it is and what I can do to help her! Thanks! :)

Edit: she has access to both grit and oyster shells

It seems like she has a problem either with her shell gland in the oviduct, or not getting or absorbing enough calcium. She is at risk for a reproductive infection or salpingitis. Is she on a layer feed as well as having access to oyster shell daily? I would get some human calcium citrate with vitamin D, and give her one tablet daily for the next 7 days. You may use other calcium or Tums if that is all you have. Let us know how she gets along. You can use this one or another:
