The District Attorney has declined the charges. There is a bit more to this and I must wait to talk futher. No news reports at this point. I plan on working to inform the forum ASAP.

It's better to be proactive than reactive in these matters.

The system(courts) need updating and revisions.

Ed, if we can take any action, do anything for you, calling, writing, showing up on your behalf, please let us know. They should NOT prosecute the case & sounds like what is happening (but you must be having to pay for the very dog). If it goes to a Grand Jury, talk to your lawyer about letting you testify too (normally, not what we recommend, but in this case, they need to NO BILL!).

If you were in my State, I would represent you for free! I believe I could win your case.

I have never handled a case in Oregon & I am only licensed in Alabama but have been pro hac vice to other States, to-wit: South Dakota (federal case); Mississippi (state case); Florida (State case); California (federal case).
